There’s exciting news after our recent special general meeting. Following the amendments to the centre’s Constitution and a registered name change with the Office of Fair Trading, our club is now officially WHAC, the Winston Hills Athletics Centre. This means that all U12-U17 athletes will be able to compete for Winston Hills in both Little Athletics events as well as Athletics NSW seniors events as we affiliate jointly with LANSW and ANSW. It also means that people older than U17 can still compete for Winston Hills in Athletics NSW events.
Please keep a lookout for further changes as we gear up for the start of the 2019/20 season in September. We are currently developing a new uniform and there will be some slight changes to the website and Facebook page to reflect the change of centre name, and to incorporate seniors information into the website.
Don’t forget that Cross Country will commence on Sunday 28th April at Crestwood Reserve. Races are 1km, 2km, 3km and 4km commencing at 10am. Hope to see lots of WHAC athletes and parents joining in.
