Rob Lowe Age Groups | Fees | Online Registration | Visitors Specific registrations days are set aside prior to the season commencing. These are generally advertised in the local press and sign-posted at venues in the local area. Returning athletes should receive notification by post. Registrations will also be taken on each running day throughout the season, other than the first (this season being 12 September 2009). Please come to the clubhouse between 8.00am and 9.00am on running days to complete the registration formalities. Proof of age (eg, birth certificate, passport, blue book) is required for new registrations. New athletes (only) are welcome to undertake a two-week trial – please see our Registrar (in the clubhouse) to obtain a trialist number on your first morning prior to competing. To determine what age group a child will fall into for the 2009-2010 season, please view the age matrix. Registration fees for the 2009/2010 season, calculated in order from oldest to youngest athlete being registered, are as follows:
Fees for the 2009/2010 season now include: ► Age Group photo for every athlete in every age group ► Athlete entry for State Relay Championships, State Multi Event Championships and State Cross Country & Road Walks Championships ► Coaching in all disciplines of Athletics events. Training takes place most weeknights (further details available at the commencement of the season) It is also worth noting that the LAANSW component of the fees now includes dual Association registration (LAANSW and Athletics NSW) for athletes in the U12 & over age groups. We encourage all athletes in these age groups to take up registration with a Senior Athletics Club to expand their participation & enjoyment of the sport. We will have Hills seniors info to distribute at our Registration days, but athletes may choose ANY Seniors Club to join, regardless of the Little Athletics Centre to which they belong. If you have not already done so, you will also need to become a member or renew your membership of Winston Hills Sports Club at the time of registering for athletics, being an additional fee of $15. All persons over the age of 18 years or families with children under 18 years participating or officiating in Little Athletics must be a financial member of the Sports Club. Have you considered using the LAANSW online registration system to submit or update your details and pay for the registration using your credit card? It is fast and easy, and limits the time required on registration day. Visit www.laansw.com.au and follow the links. If you do not wish to pay for your registration online, you can still submit or update your details and then make payment by cheque or cash at one of our Centre registration days. Note: Whether you pay online or not you still need to attend a registration day to pick up your registration kit, which includes your age patch and competition number. Proof of membership of the Winston Hills Sports Club or a duly completed Sports Club Membership Application form and payment must accompany all registration applications. Additionally, the WHLAC Family Information & Declaration form as well as the Working With Children Check, will need to be submitted in order to finalise the registration process. These additional steps will need to be completed at one of Centre registration days. If you complete an online registration, please take a printout of your online transaction (receipt or invoice) with you to receive your registration kit. Visitors from other clubs are also welcome to participate at our club running days. However, prior to taking part in any events, visitors must report to the clubhouse to receive a visitors number from the Registrar. Age managers cannot permit a visitor to participate without this number. |
