Winston Hills Athletics Centre has been active for more than 30 years and is affiliated with the Little Athletics Association of NSW (LAANSW). For the 2006/07 season we had over 500 young athletes registered with the club.

Little Athletics enables your children to participate in outdoor recreation that places emphasis on achievement rather than competitive results. The age groups are:

from age 6 to 17 athletes; and
Tiny Tots (in the 2007/2008 season, for children born after September 2002 and before October 2003)

Aims of the Club

Our aim is to provide healthy athletic participation for children so that we may foster their interest in all forms of athletics. The most important thing is for the athlete to have fun without the pressure of winning or losing.

The Little Athletics Centre’s objectives are to:

introduce children to sport;
teach them athletic skills;
lay the foundation for senior sports;
be a family and community activity; and
most importantly, have fun.
